Interview with the Bad Boys from Bittersweet Seraphim & Giveaway

Kat: Today’s the big day for the Released from Hell blog tour and I’m one lucky girl. I have all the bad boys from Bittersweet Seraphim here to join me for a chat and perhaps a few cocktails later. *vigorously fans myself. these boys are HAWT!*

So, introducing my guests…

Satan Jack is the former deliciously bad boy Devil turned human, who fell in love with Emma, a beautiful good-hearted and very spunky angel.  Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever… *twirls hair and smiles for all I’m worth*  Hey Jack baby!! 

Jack: Kat,  that dream you had last night? I orchestrated it. Twice.

Kat: I know it baby. Drop in on me anytime. *shakes head to clear the delicious memory and wipes brow*  

The undeniably evil fellow next to him is Everett - the current Devil who is obsessed with Emma and her demise. *gives him the stink eye*

Everett:   * glowers *

Kat: Sitting on the other side of Everett is Jason. He is one very hot vampire/half demon and Emma’s ex who hates Jack’s very presence here. Hi sweetie! Don’t worry, I’ll keep Jack in line or I’ll sic Violent or Debra on him.

Jason: It’s a pleasure to meet you Kat. And no worries, I’ve handled puppies with more bite than that moron.

Jack pipes up, “And I bet the puppies hated every minute of it, pencil dick.”

Kat: Really boys? We’re 1 minute into the interview and you’re at it already. Behave you rascals. 

Then we have Nero. He’s new to the story and has been a minion in Hell for a very very long time. He figured out a way to escape Hell (awesome!) and hook up with Jenny as often as he could.” *sends air kisses Nero’s way*  “I love you Nero and I’m here for you. Anytime. Call me!”

Nero: Miss Kat? Calling is done how? Do I come to your house, knock and sit on the porch? I would love to spend time in the fresh air with you.

Kat: And I would love for you to hose me down like you did Jenny. I’ll explain the calling thing later. 

Next to Nero is Dean - Jason’s brother and also a vampire/half demon. And hanging off him is the demon Violent who escaped Hell hundreds of years ago. She’s not supposed to be here but she hasn’t let go of him since she’s seen him. *I’m too afraid to look in his direction as Violent is hissing at me. Possessive much?*  

Dean: Kat, you are a brave woman for having this crew in the same room.

Kat: Dean luv, I’m living my dream. All of Debra’s characters from this series in one room is a dream come true and very thrilling. And all this testosterone is making my girlie parts tingle.  

Moving on, also with us is Mine. He is a vampire and Seriana’s mate who has been locked in a cage for all his life. He’s just the sweetest caged vampire I’ve ever met! If Seriana ever kicks you out luv, call me!

Mine: I can take kicks…anything I need to do to stay with my love. But thank you.

Kat: Ahh...see readers, how sweet is he?

So, welcome boys! I know today is stressful as hell…get it…so I figured I’d do something kinda low key and just ask you about what other interests you have. What do you do when you’re not saving Emma, or trying to catch up with her I should say, saving those you love, mankind, vampkind, etc.? Let’s start with Jack.”

Jack: Mostly, I like giving Jason the finger and watching his lame attempts at manhood.

Jason stands and growls, “Seriously, you’re here with everyone’s worst enemy and you can’t stop taunting me? I’m going to knock some sense into you.”

Jack stands and puts down his rum, “Bring it on, Donkey Ass.”

Nero steps up and shakes his head. Both men try to simmer down.

Dean: “I’ll go. Kat, when the world isn’t falling apart I love to read. I specialize in medical texts. I’d like to find out more scientific information about our kind. My brother, sister and I sometimes felt like the only ones with our particular affliction. I wanted to give us some sort of knowledge base.”

Everett adds, “That is the most boring answer in the universes. You should be ground into the dirt for having such a dull mind.”

Everett finds himself lying under Violent immediately.

“Stupid, insipid, fart. I will kill you with your own arms and feed your parts like miracle grow to some poison ivy so your balls itch for all eternity if you even look at Dean.”

Her crazy purple eyes are wide as she chokes Everett until he’s purple.

“V, stop.” Jack’s voice was quiet but the crazy minion listens with a sneer. “I have no problem killing that monkey tit a few times, but I promised Kat she’d be safe and the room would be murder free.”

“Good plan, Jack.” Jason shakes his head in disgust. “Let’s get evil incarnate in a room and make promises that keep him safe. Let me guess, because Kat’s gorgeous you couldn’t think straight?”

“You’re right she’s hot but no, I can deal with women and make a choice, unlike you. The minute you fall for a girl you’re no better than a doormat.”

Kat: *my insides are aflutter. Satan Jack thinks I’m hot and Jason thinks I’m gorgeous. Go me!*

“You know what? I’ve had it.” Jason strides toward Jack and readies himself for a fight.

Jack slaps Jason across the face. “Go home limp dick. Don’t start something you can’t finish.”

Jason retaliates immediately and despite Jack’s promise, they both fall to the floor throwing punches and fighting dirty. Everett uses the distraction to scoop me into his arms. I try to scream but he’s somehow rendered me mute.

“Look at this, Kat. You set them loose and now I get my own pretty kitty because of it. Like a free dessert after dinner.” Everett licks my face.

Kat: *ewww and WTF is Debra?*

Nero is silent as he approaches. Years in Hell have anesthetized him to unexpected brawls.

“You will hand Kat to me and walk away.” Nero holds out his arms in front of him.

“No, go shovel something.” Everett unfurls a pair of flame wings, laughing.

As if the sizzling smoke from Everett’s wings is a pause button on their poor decisions, both men look at Everett.

“Shit.” Jack untangles himself from Jason to stand near the now hovering Everett. Jack sees my eyes are wild with the need to scream.

Violent uses Nero’s strong back like a ladder and launches herself at Everett. She hits him with all her Minion force and knocks me right out of his arms. 

Jason rolls forward and catches me just before I hits the floor. Mine, Nero and Violent work together to restrain Everett. Each absorbs the burns his wings provide.

Jack sprays the whole group down with a fire extinguisher. When the foamy smoke vanishes, the group realizes that Everett has disappeared.

“Well, that was awful. So sorry Kat. Can you talk?” Jack comes close to me, I still snuggle in Jason’s arms.

After a few false starts, I'm able to answer. “Yes, I can. Thank you. Thank you all.”

Violent brushes the foam from her face. “Seriously, you humans should really interview plants. They are far more interesting.”

“Everybody out.” Jack points towards the door. I give each a departing hug until I'm alone with Satan.

“Are you okay? Damn it, Kat that scared the crap out of me.” Jack pulls me into a full-bodied hug.

“I’m fine. Shaken but fine. I really thought Debra would keep him from trying anything.” I feel disappointment in my author friend.

“I’d have been happy to share with you that Debra is a straight up insane person. It’s like she’s just along for the ride, not even pretending to sway her characters.” Jack lights a cigarette but keeps an arm around me as well. “You did pretty amazing though. Look how quickly you adapt to the paranormal. I’d like to show you some really freaky things…in bed.”

I laugh as Jack defaults to flirting. He’s hopeless. “How about we get a drink instead? We can pass the time until you get to read your story and find out how the whole thing turns out.”

Jack slips his leather jacket over my shoulders and we head out the door in search of a bar. “That sounds like the best plan I’ve heard all day. Let’s roll.”



Hope you enjoyed the interview (or my attempt at an interview).  Even though we didn't get to hear much in the way of these bad boy's hobbies, you did get a glimpse into their amazing characters.
